Dr. Charlene Archibeque (b. 1935) is Professor Emeritus at San Jose State University,, San Jose California, where she was director of Choral Activities. Her choirs gave frequent performers at ACDA conventions and won numerous international awards; the San Jose State Choraliers were recognized as one of the finest collegiate ensembles in the world. In her retirement, she continues to be in constant demand as a clinician and adjudicator, and as a director for honor choirs.
