- BIG EASY ON MY MIND
- I've got the Big Easy on my mind,
- Can't seem to leave New Orleans behind.
- I want to grab a beignet
- And a cafe au lait,
- Kick back and watch the river unwind.
- I want to sing the blues with my kin,
- And feel that hot, wet air on my skin,
- Talk that soft, smooth talk
- Walk that hip-swaying walk,
- Let the warm delta welcome seep in.
- When the city falls on hard times,
- That's when I most want to be there.
- That proud old gal may be down and out,
- But to me she's the fairest of the fair.
- I've got the Big Easy in my soul,
- I want to let those good times roll,
- Hear me some jazz,
- Like no one else has,
- It makes my spirit feel whole:
- New Orleans on my mind.

pentatonic scale. The text portrays the wondrous yet simple moments when
a lotus flower blossoms and then closes. At a deeper level, the text speaks
of the eternal cycle of nature. The music depictse this eternal cycle by
overlapping several layers of melodies to create a mysterious and dream-like
atmosphere. The text is Japanese, the pronunciation easy as the vowels
are pure as in Italian. A pronunciation guide is provided.

I Am the Wind
Christopher Delp
The composer has captured the spirit of the ancient Welsh poem with great imagination.
I am the wind that breathes upon the sea,
I am the wave on the ocean,
I am the murmur of leaves rustling,
I am the rays of the sun,
I am the beam of the moon and stars,
I am the power of trees growing,I am the bud breaking into blossom,
I am the movement of the salmon swimming,
I am the courage of the wild boar fighting,
I am the speed of the stag running,
I am the strength of the ox pulling the plough,
I am the size of the mighty oak tree,
I am the thoughts of all the people
Who praise my beauty and grace.
