Seth HoustonChoral conductor, composer, and scholar Seth Houston is currently pursuing a D.M.A. in Choral Conducting at the University of Southern California, where he studies with Jo-Michael Scheibe, Nick Strimple, and Morten Lauridsen. Houston also holds a M.M. in Choral Conducting from the University of Colorado and a B.Mus. in Composition from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Prior to his doctoral studies, Houston taught middle school and high school choir for eight years and founded and directed the independent youth choir Big Sky. Houston’s compositions are widely performed throughout North America and Europe and have been included on numerous recordings.
