Perfect for young singers. The piece has an octave range (e1 - e2), is mostly unison, and when in 2 parts, both are melodic. The poem by Laura E. Richards is delightful. First verse:

In Anchor Bay
Sue E. Bohlin
The composer created this piece for her Anchor Bay Children’s Chorus. Upbeat, with Latin rhythms and a fun text, this one is a crowd pleaser and will be a delight for children to learn. The ranges are conservative, much of the time the writing features unison or melodic writing for each part. There is an opportunity to incorporate some ad lib dancing, making this piece even more fun for all.
